Kitchen

I love this look for our kitchen - modern country to a Tee. Love that central bench. Also love EmersonMades open pantry shelving would love to incorporate this one into our design.

Kids Bathroom

I like this idea of keeping it really simple for the kids. Also thinking a door exiting to an external shower place near the pool may be handy for messy children.

Mud Room

I think this idea of a mudroom would be perfect for our new house.
Obviuosly the language of the house will probably lend itself to more of an open shelve scandanavian look but I think adding in a few eclectic pieces will soften and make it feel like home.

Our New Adventure - Wallington

Yes we have done it! Bought a 10 acre property which we aim to return to in 2 years time. It is a basic but very liveable house with great potential rennovate and make it our grand family home. Completee with stables & dressage arena, plus loads of scope for a wonderful garden we will have our hands full. This blog will now serve as a place to hold all our ideas and planning for the next 2 years!!

Keep Calm

I love the "keep Calm" poster and have seen it everywhere in all sorts of colours. I particularly like this mustard/lime green and thought it married nicely with a collage I did a while back..enjoy

White on white ....again

I really do like this simple look of white on white. I know it has been used a lot but it seems like it's a classic where you can just add some twists and turns. I love the red chair as a contrast, and would certainly add in a bit more colour for the other pics. but that is just me.

About Me

Hi, my name is Sally. I have decided to use my blog as an inspiration journal for my interior design course, and as a way to catalogue my source file. I have an interest in sustainable design both interior and exterior. My style is to use beautiful reinvented recylcled pieces, and to mix these with modern materials, where possible incorporating a sustainable approach. I hope you find my blog interesting.
